HYT H1 and H2 watches - what makes them tick?
The winner of this week’s Photo Friday contest is a Replica HYT Watches H1 watch. It's a very interesting watch, but one that people don't wear very often. Obviously fans of us who voted for this watch can appreciate it and can tell that this watch is different from most luxury watches. HYT is not a widely recognized brand like Rolex or Breitling.
HYT watches are very different from any other luxury watch. While many other watches work and "tick" in the same way, HYT watches "tick" in a completely different way. But we'll get to that later.
At Baselworld, we had the opportunity to take a look at HYT and its watches. This started our interest in the brand. At one glance at HYT watches, it’s obvious that they are not your typical luxury watches. At first glance, the first reaction might be "Huh?". I think that's probably what HYT is trying to achieve. This watch inspires curiosity. A typical watch has a hand that indicates the hours, minutes, and often seconds. The HYT dial has a small silver dial in the middle with a hand showing the minutes and a smaller dial showing the seconds. But what about time? That’s what’s interesting about this watch. Hours and minutes are displayed via liquid on the edge of the dial. You hear this and think "Do I think the liquid inside the watch case will corrode the movement of the luxury replica watches?". That’s why HYT’s technology and innovation are so amazing.
But how does this work? HYT has been awarded seven patents for creating a liquid that is the correct color, waterproof and does not change due to vibration or temperature changes. Liquid is pumped out of the bellows at 6:00 and is received by another bellows after completing its journey around the outside of the dial.
Other factors that add to the uniqueness of this watch are its construction. The dial features a sapphire crystal with a dome at the top at 6 o'clock. The larger subdial in the center displays the minutes, and the smaller, waterwheel-shaped subdial displays the seconds. In addition to the minute and seconds subdials, there is a power reserve indicator at 3 o'clock. The HYT H2 is newer and has many of the same features. One of the most obvious differences is the bellows, which is V-shaped rather than straight up and down. Additionally, the H2’s dial features a temperature indicator and a “HNR” crown position indicator. It's the same size as the H1 watch and has very similar features.
This is truly an amazing and innovative brand. It offers something different from the typical luxury watch brands that have long made watches the same way.
